The Mill
Property Description
The Mill is truly special because it is a beautiful holiday home and a restored working watermill … all rolled into one! It has been lovingly restored by its owners, Shaun and Jude who have records and deeds on display that date back to 1727 – incredibly it is even recorded in the Doomsday book. The Mill is the only water mill in Dorset with all of the original machinery and is now available for you to holiday in!

Why is it Special?
The owners, Shaun and Jude, have worked hard for many years to restore both The Mill and Cider Barn. They have turned dilapidated buildings into beautiful, modern accommodation whilst having retained all of the character and much of their historical importance. Nestled on the edge of the village of Askerswell and accessed via a little lane, Hembury Mill is an unspoilt, unique and very special place to stay.
