For a pet owner, a holiday really isn’t a proper holiday unless you bring your beloved pet with you. Don’t leave them at home or spend your holiday worrying about how they are coping at the kennels! We have plenty of cottages in the area that are pet friendly.
If you have a pet at home then the chances are you’d really like to bring them on holiday with you. After all, it wouldn’t seem complete without them. Pound Cottage, Chiddy Nook, The Burrow and Gingerbread Cottage all accommodate pets.
The area is perfect for bringing your pet for coastal and countryside walks so please don’t feel you need to leave them behind.
You’ll also be pleased to know that almost every pub in West Dorset is happy to allow your four-legged friend in with you. Often they are allowed in the bar. The George Inn, in Chideock is very welcoming of dogs and even allows them in the eating areas too. Biscuits, lots of love and water are always available too.
