Overview
This beautiful home from home cottage has everything you could need for a short break or a week or two away exploring this very special part of the world. Sleeping up to 3 people very comfortably, you can self-cater as much as you wish or choose to enjoy the hospitality of the village pub just down the road or another just a short and very enjoyable stroll away on the coast at Seatown. After a day exploring the picturesque area or walking the coastal path, you can wind down with a glass of something chilled on the raised decking in the peaceful garden and toast the sun going down on another beautiful West Dorset day. In the colder months you can cosy up inside and enjoy the warmth of the relaxing log burner.
Living
Centrally-heated, spacious open-plan living/dining room with two comfortable sofas, dining table, smart TV with freeview, DVD and iPlayer with DAB radio/CD player. There is a wood burner in the living area.
Kitchen
Country kitchen with pale painted pine units, large Belfast sink, double-oven electric cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave and ironing facilities. Recycling facilities are provided.
Sleeping
Upstairs, the pretty master bedroom is a large south-facing room with a comfortable king size bed, ample fitted wardrobes, and a window seat to enjoy spectacular views of the rolling hills towards the sea. The second charming bedroom, also upstairs, has a comfortable single bed with a chest of drawers.
Bathing
The upstairs bathroom is modern with full-size P-shaped bath, power shower, towel rail, wash basin and WC.
Parking
Parking for one car is available at the cottage.
Garden
South-facing, tranquil garden, beautifully planted and maintained, with raised decked area and fantastic views across the fields toward the sea. Garden furniture and BBQ provided.
Pets
Sorry, Greenwich Cottage does not accept pets.
What’s Included
Changeover days are Friday and Mondays, but we can be flexible in winter. The price includes heating, electricity, bed linen and towels, fresh flowers and a welcome tea tray all ready for you on arrival. High chair, cot and stairgates are available – please ask. Free Wi-Fi access in cottage.
Why is it Special?
Greenwich Cottage is a gorgeous little cottage which provides a very relaxing place to stay and is always warm and cosy. Alan and Heather, the owners, have thought of lots of little extras to make your stay really special. They do all the cleaning and laundry themselves and greet guests personally on arrival so can help with advising on the local area, things to do and places to visit. They live less than a mile away so are always on hand should you need help with anything during your stay.
